Kathleen Appell, Public Relations Consultant, speaking on behalf of the FIRE Coalition read the following statement from FIRE Coalition National Director Jeff Lewis:
"The Federal Immigration Reform & Enforcement Coalition is in full agreement with Rep. Metcalfe and the State Legislators for Legal Immigration Coalition that we are being invaded. As I'm sure you all are aware, Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution guarantees us protection against invasion.
It is encouraging to see so many state legislators across the country stand up with Rep. Metcalfe to do the hard work that is required to keep that oath to God & Country they all took.
The United States is indeed in the midst of the largest invasion in world history. More Americans are dying at the hands of illegal aliens on American soil than abroad in the war on terror.
The FIRE Coalition, through it's Operation Body Count project, has partnered with Family Security Matters Foundation to create the Victims of Illegal Alien Crime archive, VOIAC (pronounced: voy-ak). FIRE Coalition National Director Jeff Lewis, speaking at the State Legislators for Legal Immigration Coalition press conference on the steps of the West Virginia State Capitol on Monday, announced the FIRE Coalition was working with the SLLI Coalition to develop "Invasion PA" styled reports for the 36 member states of the the State Legislators for Legal Immigration Coalition, and all 50 states over time.
The "Invasion WV: National Security Begins At Home, Mountain State Report" will be available in the next few weeks. This report will provide West Virginia Legislators with information, tools, and resources to enable them to educate both themselves, and their constituents on the threats and costs of the largest invasion in world history.
The FIRE Coalition is pleased to be working with the State Legislators for Legal Immigration Coalition to develop solutions at the state level that our federal government is failing to do. We encourage all FIRE Coalition members and partner organizations to reach out to their respective state legislators and encourage them to join the State Legislators for Legal Immigration Coalition.
National security really does begin at home, and we are very pleased to see a growing number of state legislators standing up to address the illegal alien invasion.
